When I was five years old, my mother asked me where I'd like to take our family vacation that year. My answer? Eternia.
Now that 33-year-old me has gotten back into comic books, I find myself gobbling up old nostalgic favourites as well as grittier, more "adult" stuff. The great news is that DC's new Masters of the Universe comics have been offering both sides of the spectrum.
After plowing through three fantastic origin one-shots, I've moved on to the digital-only miniseries that came out last year. Next on deck is the another miniseries, followed by the new ongoing (which is getting great reviews), both titled He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
I'm not gonna lie, both current me and five-year-old me are friggin' delighted to dive back into life on Eternia. It may not be a full-blown vacation, but it's definitely a trip.
